Calling features
Connecting Slingshot to other software
Booking, scheduling and tee sheets
Slingshot does not connect to booking or scheduling software. It does not read your calendar, it does not check availability, and it does not book anything on your behalf.
What it does instead is make sure the call reaches a person who can. Everyone in a department rings at the same time, a greeting routes callers when nobody can pick up, and anything missed arrives as a transcribed email you can act on later.
If another provider tells you their phone system books appointments automatically, ask to watch it do that on your own booking system, with your own data, before you sign anything.
CRM and other business software
Slingshot does not sync with a CRM today. Calls, recordings and voicemail live in your Slingshot dashboard. They do not write themselves into another system.
If a connection to something you already run is what would make Slingshot work for you, say so, and say which one. That is how this list gets built.
Tell us what you use
We are building this list from what customers actually ask for. Email support@slingshot.tel with the software you want connected and what you would want it to do.
We will tell you plainly whether it is on the roadmap or not. We would rather say no than leave you waiting on something that was never coming.
What you can do today
- Voicemail lands in email. Every message is transcribed and emailed, so it can go to a shared inbox, a helpdesk, or anywhere else that accepts mail. See Voicemail and voicemail-to-email.
- Recordings live in the dashboard on cloud recording, where an admin can find and download them. See Cloud call recording.
- Calls can forward out to any outside number, including an answering service you already use. See Call forwarding.
