A business line for churches
The church phone. Ringing wherever your people are.
Keep the desk phones you already have, and add the app for everyone else. The office, the pastor and whoever takes bookings each ring their own people.
7-day free trial, no credit card. $5 a person a month after that.
What you get with every account
7-day free trial
Try everything, pay for what you keep. No credit card to start.
Number in under a minute
It's provisioned while you're still reading the screen. Then add the app and take calls.
No contracts
Month to month. No term, no auto-renew, no cancellation fee.
No setup fees
No activation charge, nothing to buy. The number you see is the number you pay.
Everything a church office should do. Nothing a volunteer has to manage.
The number belongs to the church
Staff move on and volunteers rotate. The line, the greeting and the voicemail stay with the church instead of leaving on someone's personal phone.
Keep the desk phones you have
Desk phones work on Pro, including the ones already sitting in the office and the hall. Nobody buys hardware to switch, and a volunteer who never installs an app can still answer the church line.
The office, the pastor, the bookings
Put people in departments and every phone in that department rings at once. Whoever is free picks up, so nobody has to guess which number to try.
Messages you can read instead of sit through
Every message comes through written out, so whoever is in the office next can see what came in while nobody was there. Nothing is lost because one person was away.
A bill that stops moving
One price, month to month, no contract and no setup fee. If your current bill has crept up over years of small additions nobody quite approved, that is the line worth comparing.
Answers when the office is closed
A greeting picks up outside office hours and points callers to the right place. Whatever nobody catches is transcribed and emailed, so Monday starts with a list you can read.

The office is part-time. The phone is not.
Most churches run their phone the way they run everything else, on the goodwill of a few people. The office is staffed for part of the week. The pastor is out visiting. Somebody answers on their own mobile because that was the phone in the room, and the number on the sign out front rings a desk nobody is sitting at.
The office keeps hours. The phone does not.
Then that person moves on, or the rota changes, and the church finds out how much was living on one handset. The wedding enquiry, the family asking about a funeral, the person who has called that number for years: none of it was ever written down anywhere.
Slingshot puts the line back where it belongs. It belongs to the church, it rings the phones your people already carry, and anything nobody catches arrives as an email you can read. No hardware in the office, no contract, and nothing new for a volunteer to learn.
Slingshot is built and run by dgNetrix Communications, a phone company since 2006, by people who have been in telecom since 1998. We know what the contract, the install and the paperwork cost, which is how we know none of it needs to be in your way.
The things people ask before they sign up.
Do you have a nonprofit or church rate?
No, and that is deliberate. There is one price, it is published on this page, and everyone pays it. It is already below what a nonprofit rate usually gets you elsewhere, so a discount would only be a discount off a number we never inflated in the first place.
No setup fee, no contract and no minimum, which for most churches matters more than a percentage off.
Do volunteers need their own line?
Only if they need to be reached directly. You are counted by the people set up on the account, not by everyone who picks up a handset, so six volunteers sharing the office phone on a rota count as one.
For the people who do get their own, they install the app and sign in, and callers see the church's number rather than their personal one. When someone stops helping you remove their access, and the number, the greeting and the voicemail all stay where they are.
What happens to calls when the office is closed?
A greeting picks up and points callers where you want them to go. Anything nobody answers is transcribed and emailed, so the message is waiting as text when the office opens.
You choose what the greeting says and where each option sends people. It is not an answering service, and there is nobody on our end listening in for you.
Do I need to buy any hardware?
No. Slingshot runs on the phone already in your pocket. Install the app, scan a code, take calls.
If you want something on a desk, Pro works with any SIP-enabled device, including the ones you already own. Desk phones, conference units, door entry intercoms: if it speaks SIP, it connects.
What's actually in the free trial?
Seven days with the full Pro feature set and no credit card. It's a real working business number that rings, not a demo environment.
Three things wait until you activate: adding extra numbers, transferring a number in, and outbound calling past 100 minutes. Everything else is switched on.
How do I know which plan I'll end up on?
You don't choose one up front, and you can't get it wrong. As you set things up, the panel shows what your bill would be at today's setup. If you switch on something that moves you to Pro, it tells you at that moment, names the price, and lets you undo it.
You land on the plan that matches what you actually built.
Can more than one person answer the same number?
Yes. Put people into a department, sales or service or the front desk, and every phone in it rings at the same time. Whoever is free picks up.
Starter includes two departments. Pro has no limit.
Can I bring my existing number?
Yes, and it's free on every plan. You sign the transfer authorisation on screen, we file it with your current provider, and we show you the date they give us rather than leaving you guessing.
You can set up where the number rings before it even arrives, so the day it moves across nothing changes for the people calling you.
Can I text from my business line?
Not yet. Texting is in build and will arrive on Pro, and we'll publish the details the day it ships rather than before.
Carriers require every business number to be registered before it can send a message, which is the step we're working through now. We'd rather tell you that than put a date on someone else's approval.
Will you connect to the software we already use?
Yes. The platform is API-driven, so the connections are possible to build, and we work through them in the order customers ask for them.
Tell us what you run, whether that's HubSpot, Salesforce, a booking system or something we've never heard of. Nothing is connected today, so you'll get a straight answer on where yours sits instead of a maybe.
We run more than one business. Can they share an account?
Yes, and many of the companies we run do exactly that. Each business gets its own number, answering with its own greeting, on one account. The people underneath are shared, so someone who works across two brands has one extension and one app rather than two.
That needs Pro, because it needs more than one business number. Plenty of companies start with everything on one number and split the brands out later.
Can the greeting answer in another language?
Yes. Record the greeting in whatever language you need and upload it, and the generator can produce a French Canadian voice if you would rather not record one.
Offering callers a choice of language needs Pro. Press one for English, two for the other sends each caller to their own set of options, and a menu that opens another menu is a Pro feature.
What happens when someone leaves the company?
Nothing you have to worry about, which is the whole point. The line belongs to the business. Remove that person and their access goes with them, while the number, the greeting and the voicemail stay exactly where they are.
Compare that to a business running on personal mobiles, where the number leaves in somebody's pocket along with the customers who call it.
When do I actually get charged?
Not until you activate. The trial takes no card at all. When you activate we charge the first month, and that date becomes your renewal date every month after.
No setup fee, no minimum, no annual commitment.
How do I cancel?
Tell us and we close the account. There's no notice period, no retention call, and no early-termination fee, because there's no term to terminate.
Month to month means we have to earn the next month. That's the deal.
Can I take my number with me if I leave?
Yes. It's your number, not ours. Ask and we release it to whoever you're moving to.
A business line you can't leave with isn't really yours, and we'd rather say that plainly than bury it.
Early access is open.
A real business number, on the phone already in your pocket, in the next few minutes.
