Number in under a minute
It's provisioned while you're still reading the screen. Then add the app and take calls.
No contracts
Month to month. No term, no auto-renew, no cancellation fee.
No setup fees
No activation charge, nothing to buy. The number you see is the number you pay.
Two good products. Built for different buyers.
Pick Slingshot to stay month to month
Slingshot costs the same every month and there is no term to sign. RingCentral's headline price is for a twelve-month commitment, and paying month to month with them costs more per person.
Pick RingCentral if your CRM logs calls today
RingCentral's Advanced plan logs calls into your CRM now. On Slingshot that is still in build, with early access on request, and we would rather you read that here than find it out in your first week.
Pick Slingshot if your team lives on their phones
Slingshot is a business line in an app on the phone each person already carries. There is no meetings, webinar or chat suite in the price, which is the point if you already use something else for those.

Where each one is the better buy.
When RingCentral is the better choice.
- Your team relies on calls being logged in a CRM from day one.
- You want video meetings, webinars and team chat on the same bill.
- You want an AI receptionist or conversation analytics from the same vendor today.
- You need business texting today, not when it ships.
When Slingshot is the better choice.
- You want to stay month to month and leave whenever you like, with your number.
- Your people work from their mobiles and need one business line on each of them.
- You need a greeting, departments and voicemail in your inbox, not a meetings suite.
- You would rather deal with the company that runs the network your line is on.
Two plans. You don't pick one.
Every account starts the same way: a 7-day free trial with no credit card, running the full Pro feature set. When you activate, you land on the one that matches what you actually built. No setup fees, no minimum, no annual commitment.

Trust is built on the phone. Both ways.
A customer calls, and in the next few seconds they decide whether you are a business they can rely on. Someone answers, or a greeting sends them straight to the right person, or they hang up and call the next name on the list.
The phone is where a customer decides whether to trust you.
Big Telecom never went away. It moved to the cloud and kept the contract: twelve-month terms, and add-ons for the things you assumed were included. None of that is needed to answer the phone well.
Trust runs the other way too. You should be able to rely on the company that carries your calls to tell you the truth, including when a competitor is the better buy. That is why every row RingCentral wins is marked in the table. Call 877-776-0673 and ask us anything above. If RingCentral fits you better, we will say so.
Slingshot is built and run by dgNetrix Communications, a phone company since 2006, by people who have been in telecom since 1998. We know what the contract, the install and the paperwork cost, which is how we know none of it needs to be in your way.
Moving from RingCentral.
Can I bring my RingCentral number?
Yes, and moving it is free on every plan. You sign the transfer authorisation on screen and we file it with RingCentral. Keep your RingCentral service active until the number arrives, because cancelling first can release the number for good.
Check when your RingCentral term ends before you start. Moving the number does not end a commitment you signed with them.
Will my desk phones work?
Pro works with any SIP-enabled phone, including ones you already own. Some phones supplied by another provider are locked to that provider and will not take new settings. Send us the make and model and we will tell you before you move.
Does Slingshot connect to my CRM?
Not for everyone yet. CRM logging is in build, and early access is open on request. If your team depends on calls being logged automatically from day one, RingCentral's Advanced plan does that today.
Tell us what you run and you will get a straight answer on where it sits and whether early access covers it.
What replaces RingCentral video meetings?
Nothing inside Slingshot. We do the business line and nothing else. Most small teams already meet on Google Meet, Zoom or Teams, and they keep using it.
Is Slingshot cheaper than RingCentral?
For a small team paying month to month, usually yes, and the side-by-side above uses the published numbers. If you would commit to RingCentral for a year and you need its CRM logging, the gap is smaller and RingCentral may be the better buy. Run the numbers with the people you would actually put on it.
Be the business that picks up.
A real business number, on the phone already in your pocket, in the next few minutes.
